Dynamic Duo cast

DC’s upcoming animated film Dynamic Duo has added new voice-cast details, with Mason Thames set to voice Dick Grayson, also known as Robin.

According to TheWrap, Logan Kim will voice Jason Todd, the second Robin. The story will rework the characters’ comic-book history into a story about Grayson and Todd as orphaned childhood friends whose paths diverge.

Who is joining the Dynamic Duo cast?

Lee Pace has joined the cast as Red Hood One, while Steve Buscemi will portray Red Hood Two, members of the criminal Red Hood Gang in the film.

Thames is known for roles including The Black Phone and How to Train Your Dragon. The casting gives the film two central Robin characters, with Grayson becoming Bruce Wayne’s Robin while Todd takes a different path.

When will Dynamic Duo be released?

TheWrap reports that Warner Bros. has moved Dynamic Duo to September 22, 2028. The film is being made through a combination of computer animation, models and large-scale puppetry.

The project is a collaboration involving Warner Bros. Pictures Animation, DC Studios, Matt Reeves’ 6th & Idaho and Swaybox Studios. Its story centers on Dick Grayson and Jason Todd rather than a traditional Batman-and-Robin setup.

What this means for the DC universe

The relationship between Dynamic Duo and the wider DC Universe remains a separate question. TheWrap noted that it is unclear whether Thames and Kim could reprise the roles in live-action DC projects.
