Netflix is using social clips, teaser videos, and first-look material to build excitement for Haunted Hotel Season 2. One of the most intriguing bits of conversation concerns the mysterious “Attic Girl” — a background character viewers spotted before the new season, and who fans began connecting to the “new employee” teased in Season 2 promotional material.
This article rounds up official Netflix social material that can be linked or embedded, plus the fan discussion around the attic character. It distinguishes confirmed promotional content from fan theories: Netflix’s posts promote Season 2, while the identity and backstory theories discussed below are viewer speculation unless confirmed on-screen.

The Attic Girl mystery: what viewers noticed
After the Season 2 trailer teased a new employee, viewers began pointing out that a mysterious person had appeared in the hotel attic earlier. A Reddit discussion posted on October 9, 2026, connects the new-season teaser to a figure seen in Season 1 and collects theories about whether she is a ghost, alive, or connected to a supernatural deal. Those are fan theories—not confirmed plot facts. Read the original fan discussion.
Netflix’s official Abaddon teaser
Netflix also promoted the season through an official Snapchat Spotlight clip featuring Abaddon. The post says the demon returns for Season 2, premiering October 9. Watch Netflix’s Snapchat Spotlight.

Frequently asked questions
Did Netflix officially reveal the Attic Girl’s identity?
The social material and trailer promote Season 2, but the fan discussion linked here contains theories. Do not treat those theories as an official character reveal.
Why is there no episode-specific Instagram embed?
I could not independently verify the previously cited post URL, so it was removed. This article links to Netflix’s official Instagram profile instead of presenting an unverified post as authentic.
Are the five images of real actors?
Yes. They are cast portraits of voice performers Eliza Coupe, Will Forte, Skyler Gisondo, Natalie Palamides, and Jimmi Simpson. They are not photos of the animated character or episode stills.
