PHILADELPHIA — A house in the city’s Olney neighborhood remains at the center of a widening investigation after police linked the property to multiple missing women and recovered extensive digital and physical evidence.
What to know
The home on the 400 block of West Chew Avenue was the longtime residence of Eugene Horsch and his late father, Raymond “R.C.” Horsch. Eugene was arrested in June 2026 on federal firearms and related charges following a traffic stop near Independence Mall.
During searches of the property, investigators found chemicals, a 55-gallon drum connected to piping, a small marijuana operation, and a massive cache of digital files containing more than one million images and videos. Police have said some of the recovered video evidence appears to show women who are now presumed dead.
At least five women who went missing between 2012 and 2023 have been connected to the house. Neighbors have referred to the property as a “house of horrors.”
Philadelphia police say they have identified dozens of people seen in videos recovered from the Olney house at the center of a massive investigation.
